NodeMCU Boards with Wlan
The "NodeMCU Boards" are development boards for the operating system NodeMCU, which can be programmed with precompiled modular firmware and the script language LUA. All NodeMCU boards are equipped with an ESP processor, a USB interface and a stabilized power supply. While the first boards were equipped with an ESP8266 12-E, there are now also new variants with ESP8266 12-F or ESP32-WROOM processor.

NodeMCU Amica V2
The Amica V2 board is a breadboard friendly controller with an ESP12-F processor and a CP2102 USB interface.
NodeMCU LoLin V3
The LoLin V3 module is also equipped with an ESP12-F, but has a USB interface with CH340 chipset. The power supply has been revised, which slightly increases the size.
D1 mini ESP8266MOD
The D1 Mini is the most compact NodeMCU board in our range and is only about half the size of a LoLin V3 module. Despite the small size, a USB interface with CH340 and the full power of the ESP processor are still available.
The NodeMCU ESP32 is an adapted design of the Espressif ESP32 Dev Kit C V2, which is equipped with an ESP32-WROOM module. The ESP32 processor is an evolution of the ESP8266 with more power and dual-core processor. The NodeMCU operating system for the ESP32 is still in beta phase.
All our NodeMCU boards can be programmed using the Arduino IDE and the Arduino language reference. Many free libraries for the Arduino boards have now also been adapted for the ESP or additional versions have been released. In many cases, the NodeMCUs with ESP are superior to the Arduino boards and are better for getting started with IoT.
The NodeMCU boards can be programmed using LUA and the NodeMCU operating system. Full programming in the Arduino IDE is possible without restrictions after installing the plugin in the Arduino IDE. Like all ESP8266 modules, the NodeMCU boards can be programmed in other languages such as Micropython. Graphical programming is also possible

Typical projects for NodeMCU
The NodeMCU boards are ideal for getting started with IoT. Thanks to the integrated WLAN interface and the convenient handling of the network functions, sensor values can be displayed via a website in seconds, data can be transmitted via MQTT or the status of a WLAN within reception range can be monitored. Popular projects are weather stations, social media counter displays or smart home devices.
